I'm a little overwhelmed. no pun.

I bought this to try and cool down an Onkyo receiver sitting in a fairly small Ikea cabinet with no front doors and minimal rear ventilation. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but whatever those expectations were, they were exceeded. This block comes well packaged from the start with a nifty manual. When unpacking the device, I immediately noticed how robust it looked. At least I thought it bolted well. The installation was very simple: plug it in and place it on the receiver. I played around…

Pros
  • Quiet fan system for cooling routers, modems, game consoles and other AV components.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

VVA is a very valuable commodity

I currently have 5 different ones AC Infinity fans built into my system With a processor, a CD player, a BRP and four external amps, it's imperative to keep my system from overheating I'm getting both form and function here AC Infinity blocks are a perfect match for my gear ". Not only do they work and look cool, they look like you own them, and bottom line, they actually work! Heat is your gear's number one enemy. I've known a lot of HDMI boards that have failed due to prolonged exposure to…

Pros
  • Dimensions: 11.6" x 6.3" x 1.5" | Exhaust: Rear | Airflow: 100cfm | Noise: 20dBA
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Aircom S6 cools my AV receiver perfectly. My last three surround receivers were Denon and none of them have failed. And that's partly because I've either always made sure they're well-ventilated, or I've installed a "cupcake fan" on them (the thin, DC-powered fan you find in desktop computers). I would run the fan at a lower voltage so it spins slower and thus is virtually silent at 6ft. My 4k capable Denon receiver has fans but they have never heard them work in daily use and the unit gets…

Pros
  • Protects components from overheating, performance issues and reduced lifespan.
Cons
  • sad packaging

Reliable and high-quality assembled devices!

Bought this to add to my 'new to me' Denon AVR-3310ci receiver in excellent condition (based on a very outdated non-HDMI AVR-1609). I wanted something to keep the temp down as it's a lot bigger and sturdier than my old 1609 receiver. I had both my old and new one in a slightly "open" spot at the bottom of my glass TV stand, but it sits much closer to the top of the glass and had no room to breathe at all. I measured and could barely fit the AIRCOM S6 between the glass and Denon. However, I had…

Pros
  • Programming includes two thermal start modes and four speed control options.
Cons
  • High price
