Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well built and easy to use

I took this baby monitor with me to take care of my child during the summer holidays. He arrived on time. It came in a sturdy box (Figure 1) with four components, a camera, a monitor, a manual and an accessory box (Figures 2 and 3). The camera has a cylindrical base that houses a micro-USB port and two antennas, as well as an almost 360-degree rotatable video head that can also rotate about 20 degrees in either direction, up or down. Turned upwards you will find the reset button and the SD card slot (Fig. 5). The accessory box includes two power adapters, a USB-A to Micro-USB cable (for camera), a USB-A to USB-C cable (for monitor), two mounting screws, and a bottom plate. I just put the camera on the desk so I didn't use any fasteners. The two cords are about 6 feet long each, which is plenty when outlets are nearby. The manual is not well written, but acceptable (Figure 6-9). In fact, if you only have one camera, you don't need a manual. In my experience, as soon as I turned on the monitor and camera, the monitor and camera paired automatically (Figure 4). The instructions state that up to four cameras can be connected to the monitor, so be sure to read the instructions to know how to pair with all four cameras and how to set up the display. I placed the monitor in the study, which is on the ground floor and about 200 feet from my child's room. I found no difficulty retrieving live video. The monitor is a 5-inch screen with a decent resolution and relatively vivid colors. The camera's night vision works well. Two-way audio is loud and clear. Sound and temperature sensors work well. I also tried recording video to SD card and it works as advertised. I personally think that this is a fully-fledged baby monitor with adequate functions. It's worth the price ($100) I paid. Not sure about durability but will keep updating my review if there are any issues.
