I'm not in the typical range for this as a full grown adult and bought it mainly for the occasional 'deep' blackheads I tend to get every now and then ears. They are not superficial and are usually painful bumps that can be squeezed out or punctured, but are ineffective. I bought it hoping it would be easier for me. Everything is working well. I used to use a hole in the key for a similar end that really worked when I needed it and it's a lot better than that. It simply redirects the pressure of any force applied inward so white dots are removed and then without yours dirty hands (or keys) can be cleaned. It works well in areas where the skin is thin and pinching would be impractical anyway. I believe it would be more effective for blackheads and surface blackheads like I had as a teenager. I wish I had it then, maybe I could spare myself some ugliness. My solution ended up washing my face every morning and night (sometimes even with soap) and tossing the pillowcase in the laundry every (yes, *every*) week. I didn't fully care about it, but it definitely improved things.
