It really works! for computer cable adapter

This overview applies to the HDMI Displayport adapter. This is amazing stuff! Keep in mind I've only had it for 2 days. Surprisingly, it works with a 1080p 144Hz monitor and allows it to run at 144Hz with 4:4:4 color. I'm assuming the HDMI input is indeed HDMI 2.0, which I've tested and is HDCP compliant. I haven't had any problems with it so far. Literally plug and play. It's completely software independent, so you can use it to connect an HDMI Blu-ray player to a Displayport monitor. Requires 5V power from USB port or wall adapter (not included). I'm tempted to buy another one in case this one fails or I need another somewhere else. Highly recommended! UPDATE: For my computer, the adapter only works with HDMI power, no need to connect to a USB port, but ymmv. I've been using this in conjunction with an HDMI switch for a week or two and sometimes when switching between computers I have to cycle the monitor on and off to recover the picture. This can be an issue with a specific Windows 10 PC as it only occurs on that one PC. Also, it does not work with the Monoprice 2x1 Displayport Switch. I'm assuming this is an issue with this converter, but I'm not sure as each product is used individually and not together. The link to the switch is here. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074KT689K/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
