Review on Black Head Collar Halter for Dogs - Available in 6 Sizes by Pamela Warfield

It's been a while since I've written a review. However, this one really deserves it. I've always used gentle hooklink for my labs. Unfortunately, the small tab at the bottom of the chin always broke and I had to replace it. Thought I'd try something different this time because my year and a half old lab kept breaking them. When I stumbled across this one, I liked how it was better designed. There was no clamp on the bottom to break. The nose was thicker and padded so it wouldn't dig into his face or eyes. It looks and fits better than the general guides. And it cost a lot less. I liked it so much that I immediately ordered a second one for my other laboratory. I have now ordered a medium after reading other reviews saying they are great. My Labradors have always worn oversized soft leashes. However, I ordered a medium size and it fit perfectly. One of my English Labradors has a large square head. The middle one was a bit tighter but it fits well and I wish it wasn't bigger. If I wanted to change something about this collar it would be the locking mechanism which would be a bit stronger. It's a bit on the cheesy side. I wonder how long it will last after many uses? I think we'll see. All in all I would order it again and recommend the gentle guide.
