Ice cold water from the fridge is worth it
I still have an aging Brita and I'm not sure I really need her, but the ability to put her in the side door of the fridge was compelling . Definitely worth it: drinking ice water anytime is wonderful; I think I drink more water so it's healthier. I kept the old one and use it on the counter to fill pots, cat water bowls etc.
