Service shop broke 3 lug wrenches trying to remove very tight 'lock' nuts. They only successfully unscrewed one safety nut after 2 hours of various attempts. I ordered this Shankly set and a 24" breaker. Two days ago I sprayed nuts with WD-40. Shankly's set and crowbars arrived today. I made sure the rest of the nuts are tight. Slowly and firmly pull the breaker, holding the puller perpendicular to the wheel while I squeezed lightly with my palm to keep Shankly engaged. All three nuts you see were removed in less than ten minutes. Don't forget to use a hammer and pull bar afterwards to remove the lug nuts from the stem. I suggest using Shankly, which only bites if pressed by hand while spinning. Hitting the smaller one with a hammer can break the shank or compress the nut, making it difficult to remove. This tool rocks!
