As much as I love this product I love it when it's appropriate I have had 3 occasions in the last week since I started using this product when it came loose. I'm driving so I can't figure out if the problem is a seat belt twitch or stepping on it. Anyway I snapped it open then tugged a few times to make sure it was secure BUT it comes loose when in use! I have a foster pit bull, very big and strong. Imagine my shock when she jumped into the front seat! So dangerous that after three attempts with the same result I can no longer use it. I cut it so the metal clip covers the outlet. Thinking that the dog accidentally dislodged itself by stepping on the harness insert. Same result. Maybe there are size/weight restrictions? In any case, I do not recommend it as it is too dangerous to keep using it.
