Yes, that's more than other CAIs, but for a company like Banks, which has been in business the longest and has just always had success with Cummins after selling parts, it's worth the extra money! Ease of installation. Didn't even need instructions. Came with everything. Absolutely huge difference in acceleration and if I didn't like that internal and external turbo hiss I'd say it would undoubtedly increase your MPG. The sound of the turbine is not loud not only indoors, but also outside, but you can hear them coming closer and definitely attracts attention. :-)
