Review on 🚪 3M Outdoor Patio Door Clear Insulation Kit for Large Windows and Sliding Doors, Heat/Cold Insulation, 1-Door Kit - 7ft. x 9.3ft. by Larry Cho

I'm very angry. I have been using a 3M brand exterior window insulation kit for a number of years. A few years ago one of the film sets was cut down and I was able to return it to Home Depot. FWIW, the seller thought I might have a problem peeling off the last layer of foil. Although I assured him I was not inexperienced, I let him try. The film was defective and I left with a good set. Now it has happened again and unfortunately this is a Revain purchase that is over 30 days old. I already applied the tape and peeled back the tape along the top of the hole and partially down the sides. That's when I realized the film was the wrong size and unfortunately the process began. Luckily I had another brand (Frost King) of the right size that I wanted to use on a different door. This went beyond where the faulty 3M product should have landed. I don't care (so much) about money, it's a nuisance. I love 3M, live in Minnesota and even own stock in the company. But I will never buy a 3M exterior window insulation kit again. I would say they have really improved the usability of the band, it detaches from the base much easier than before. So 5 stars for the band and 0 stars for the small product.
