This Minecraft playset is fun to build and fun after completion. The set includes a Minecraft figure the same size as other Minecraft sets, making it compatible with other sets you may own or purchase separately. The included instructions provide step-by-step instructions on how to build each block, resulting in an interactive landscape for your child(ren) to play with. The blocks are made of laminated reinforced material that is durable and can withstand regular play by young children. The age level for this set depends on having an adult help assemble the blocks. Building blocks is fun for ages 5+, but building blocks is for older kids. My 8 year old needed help building blocks but we had fun building them together. After that both children could play together. Any fan of Minecraft games will love this set, whether it's papercraft, demo or tactile play. Putting the pieces together was fantastic fine motor skills for my son and I, and the manual helped make assembly smooth and enjoyable. Due to the paper texture I don't think this toy will last more than a few months if not stored properly when not in use. However, I think it's a great price for what you get and it can be a gift for all ages. I would recommend this set.
