Review on ACDelco 336 1054 Professional Starter Remanufactured by Thomas Chalecki

I chose ACDelco over the aftermarket mini starter because I knew it would spin without adjustment. Significant improvement in starting torque and significant weight savings compared to a classic starter. Don't worry about a cheap rebuild of an inefficient boat anchor that came with older SBC engines. Get this mini starter that works better than new. FYI: I had to extend the power cord about 6 inches to get to the new location of this starter which I knew could be an issue from the forums. 2 years later it's still holding up. I thought I had a problem, but the wire extension I plugged in touched the exhaust pipe and corroded. The revision of the cables and connections fixes the problems.
