I am very satisfied. I had a cheaper dehydrator but it broke and I thought it might be worth upgrading the tier. I bought two extra trays and it was smart. I mainly dry bananas, pineapples, kiwis, peaches, strawberries, oranges. I made a batch of jerky out of curiosity and it was good. The plastic of the tray is flexible for easy cleaning. My old cheaper block was hard plastic and was harder to remove residue from. I don't really try to clean the trays, I just scrape off the leftovers. At some point I might want to wash them, and soaking them would probably be ideal. But they don't fit in my sink for soaking, so I don't know how to go about it. I don't want to heat the house, so I do it outside anyway. So far no problems. Maybe it's because of the low humidity. I read a comment about it not working in high humidity. I'm not sure what it's about.
