Great Brush on Abrasive Brushes

There are some bad reviews about this guy. The wires fly out. TRUE. I've never used a wire wheel or cup brush, so that's not true. The best products hold the wires better but still allow them to move. Wear appropriate gear. This mug brush holds them well. I'm very satisfied with this product. The wires are broken. Also potentially true. I destroyed the mug brush very quickly. I used it wrong. Of course, if you push too hard, force the bristles around corners, or thread the bristles into narrow, sharp edges, anything that twists the bristles hard as you twist them will break fairly quickly. Angle grinders usually spin them at speeds over 10,000 RPM. A knotted cup brush works better. Depends on what you do and what you need. A knotted cup brush has much thicker bristles. If you remove paint/rust, yes, it's faster. However, it can also remove metal under paint. They are very aggressive. If you press the bristles hard or bend them around the corners, they will withstand rough handling better than thinner bristles. I have and use both types of cup brushes for different purposes. i like them both I tend to use fine bristle brushes. Typically used to remove metal deposits, paint, rust, etc.
