These are thick, heavy rubber mats, so they do what they're supposed to do in that regard. However, I have a few issues with them that prevent me from recommending them. #1, they don't have rubber tips on the bottom that stick to the carpet. They're just smooth. #2, the holes they should anchor to the car floor with anchors on the seat will not fit a 2016 Dodge Charger. The holes are round with a latch, but the charger has oblong "hooks". So the lack of rug spikes coupled with the wrong mounting holes means these rugs slip a lot more than they should. I keep pushing her onto the seat while my feet press the driver's mat against the firewall. This leads to constant rework, whereas a floor mat must be a "set and forget” ordeal. Also, if these things slide too much, there's a good chance they'll collect behind the brake pedal, which is a major safety concern. On the other hand, they look good, are thick, durable and don't smell at all. Their shape also fits my charger perfectly, both front and back. They should last a long time. The price was good and the rugs are basically functional but I will not buy them again or recommend them. Spend a little more money for a better designed doormat that is true to size.
