Plastic jaw lever handle broke after about 15 injections. It broke right where the brass reinforcer ended inside, leaving a very short stump. The jaws were poorly cut for stick electrodes. (Very rough casting on the surface of the grooves). This was fixed with a small round file but the holder broke before I could. This, along with a somewhat weak clamping spring, made it difficult to hold the electrode while the initial arc was being established. The holder ran "cold" during use, but at about 140 amps on a long weld. The problem was quickly resolved by Revain. The item was only $6. I got what I paid for. Update: Today the welding wire limped out of the wire clamp with a broken handle. There are no fasteners (grooves or teeth) in the clamp to properly support the load of the welding wire. The $25 holder worked great.
