AMAZING WELDING ROD HOLDER!

Bought Forney EasyWelder & The electrode holder was less than adequate. Bought to replace the holder and it is a strong, sturdy and high quality electrode holder. Easy installation and replacement of a defective device.

Cheap price Cheap product

Slightly faint sense of cheapness. It's not clamped tight enough and the handle only moves from 1 to small screw holding it. I think at this cost if you only burn a couple rods a year on a buzz box it's fine. I went to the local welding supply store, bought a better one and threw it in the trash within a week.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY Electrode Holders

This stitch is so bad I would like to sue the production I lost as a result. This terrible sting hits the teeth with electrodes. Due to poor construction, Flimsy doesn't hold the "whip" very well. He says it's 200 but he can't handle more than 120-150. Just a terrible machine. I used it for a day and my teeth are gone.

  • Heavy Duty

The handle broke. Best in Electrode Holder

Thumb trigger broke before I ran 10 rods. The trigger was broken in two. It looks like there is metal in the plastic. Broke where the metal ended, leaving about an inch of plastic on the trigger. You should spend a little more money and add metal almost to the bottom of the trigger. By elongating the metal, the trigger will not break in two.

I've been welding for 30 years.

. This is the worst holder I've ever used. small thin screws to secure cable and handle. and does not hold the electrodes. I can't believe Lincoln would put his name on something like this and that was the only reason I bought it. Probably some 24-year-old fresh out of marketing school who couldn't even tell MIG from TIG. One star is an exaggeration.

  • Beautiful packaging

Save money and buy a better quality electrode holder

Save money and buy a better quality electrode holder. Even the Chinese can do it better. Uneven casting of very poor quality bronze will result in grooves that will not hold the electrode in place. The ladder clamp is weak. I installed it and it holds the 1/16th electrode in the back groove but it wobbles quite a bit. Large electrodes are also not very stable. You can believe what these other reviewers have to say about it. This isn't Lincoln's best effort. gonna weld Just waiting for theโ€ฆ

Garbage, not your regular Lincoln part

This stinger will not securely hold a 1/8 or 3/32 rod. They move in the teeth, and when you click the 7018 electrode after the welding is complete, the electrode comes right out of the teeth. This is because the upper jaw is flat, there is no triangular shape to pinch the electrode, the lower jaw only has teeth. When I emailed Lincoln about this and showed them the last photo in my review of what a Stinger should look like, they didn't offer a refund or any help other than "If you want betterโ€ฆ

Abnormal Lincoln quality

Plastic jaw lever handle broke after about 15 injections. It broke right where the brass reinforcer ended inside, leaving a very short stump. The jaws were poorly cut for stick electrodes. (Very rough casting on the surface of the grooves). This was fixed with a small round file but the holder broke before I could. This, along with a somewhat weak clamping spring, made it difficult to hold the electrode while the initial arc was being established. The holder ran "cold" during use, but at aboutโ€ฆ
