Save money and buy a better quality electrode holder. Even the Chinese can do it better. Uneven casting of very poor quality bronze will result in grooves that will not hold the electrode in place. The ladder clamp is weak. I installed it and it holds the 1/16th electrode in the back groove but it wobbles quite a bit. Large electrodes are also not very stable. You can believe what these other reviewers have to say about it. This isn't Lincoln's best effort. gonna weld Just waiting for the handle to break as several other reviewers have complained.
