I wasn't sure at first, but I liked them for several reasons. First, it's cool to dance to music. I mean come on Secondly, the controller also controls my UpHere fans and certainly every other 6-pin RGB fan with this type of connection. You can control the fan speed with the remote, not available on other fans in this price range, and the controller comes with a 3-pin RGB header if your motherboard has one. If not, these lights offer the best and cheapest controller I've used to date and I've tried quite a few now. Highly recommended as an inexpensive way to add style to your gaming system. They're well made too for the price and look solid when you install them, which is as easy as installing any other 120mm fan. They offer excellent airflow, work quietly and are worth the money.
