I bought this for my elderly parents and within two days they loved it! Big numbers, bright display and boost function. It was perfect! .Unfortunately, the phone completely drains the required AAA batteries. These are standard NICD batteries, and after 3 sets (the ones included and two different brands), the phone can't work more than 2-3 hours when fully charged. There's also no low-battery warning - it just dies. It would be a great 4-5 star phone if it had a standard phone battery. Unfortunately it isn't. I will send it back and look for another brand.
