Review on Enhance Your Game with Litko Game Accessories Tower Opaque by Justin Kautzman

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Spectacularly fails in its primary purpose.

This may be the first honest review of this product. Received it today and set up the X-wing miniatures game to test it out. Installation: The tower comes flat in a plastic bag with an elastic band. Don't throw away the gum, you'll need it later! You start by sliding the ramp and two toggle switches into place and juggling the sides. After everything falls apart and you have a few fights, learn how to juggle everything and squeeze in the right place until you can get front and back in place. Don't panic - they actually stay together, even if you wouldn't believe it, once you've attached the front and back panels. It still wobbled a bit so I put on the included elastic and it held up the whole game. The product description says it's easy to install and disassemble. It's not very complicated to set up, but everything falls apart easily once you're done with it. Usage: A "stop" plate at the bottom where the bones land at a 45 degree angle instead of a right 90 degree angle that stops the bones. once they get down. After the dice are thrown into the tower, a large percentage of the time they hit the bottom "cork" (which is actually a ramp) and fly out, completely destroying the concept of a tower of dice. This thing is defeating its sole purpose. While the turret performed marginally for the smaller X-Wing dice, the standard six-sided dice flew out almost every time more than one was inserted into the turret. . The landing area for the cubes is too small, so they fly out. This thing needs a thorough overhaul. Pros: Comes in a plastic bag with an elastic band. Cons: Difficult to set up Doesn't keep the cubes in the landing zone Falls apart easily Not recommended.
