Sits on top of cup
The jack pad is 125mm wide and sits on top of the 'cup' of my 3 ton Sears jack which is 130mm wide. The material is quite strong and I don't expect it to sag in the middle. However, if this is a problem, I stick a block of wood in the cup to support the pad. The grooves in the pad make it easier to jack up my Toyotas at the welds without causing damage.
