To be honest I wasn't just expecting something bigger but also something a lot brighter, honestly it's not much brighter than a cell phone light. I have much brighter headlamps that I use at work, I can screw them to the wall and push a button to light up the closet. Even with all 3 running at full power, the single bulb is brighter. They are not powerful enough to be under closet lights. Maybe when you are camping they can be useful as a tent light or camping toilet light at night. It only serves as a work lamp if you have to see very close and not much light is needed for fine details.
