Let me get to the point. you work for me I haven't had any problems with them. They do NOT spoil the taste of the coffee. I have no problems with the water supply. Yes, they are thicker than I'm used to. At first I was concerned about the thickness, but I had no problems with the water flow. At first it scared me a bit. Thick, but I had no problems with the water flow. The material is "darker" than other filters I've used. This surprised me, but I had no problems with the filter.
