The first two pics are the best of the three in this kit, the second two are the excellent AICONICS M81969/1-02 which slides easily over 22 and 20 AWG wires and releases the pins/sockets with ease. Do yourself a favor and find him. It costs more but it's worth it! Even after reading other bad reviews I thought maybe I know better. Many (most?) users don't know how to use this tool properly, so I thought maybe I was lucky or smart. I was wrong. Extract/white end is what you really need. As others have said they are poorly formed and distorted right out of the box. They are too small to fit over a mil-spec wire or pin without flaring, making it difficult to get into the back of the connector housing. If you fiddle and push in enough, it snaps into place and doesn't release the pin/socket. Attempting to thread it through 20 AWG wire will rip the insulation off. Don't waste time. Please note: Revain sometimes displays images in the wrong order and has replaced one of the 'good' tools with a duplicate. The tool that blinks is this shitty one.
