I have an older model RecTec 680 Pellet Smoker that has a lot of heavy stainless steel parts, but the cold smoked body and chamber are painted heavy steel. RecTec has a great reputation and I love my pellet smoker, but turns out the Chinese manufacturing process used rusty steel plates that were painted over. Since 2017 the steel body and cold smoke chamber have started to peel and rust, so I decided to take the smoker apart and use these Wire Cups brushes with a heavy duty battery powered drill to remove the paint and rust. I apply significant pressure to these air suckers, removing paint and rust to reveal a clean steel surface for repainting. They still look like new. I would recommend her!
