The cable burned out after a few months of purchase

We used these cables to connect the docking station to our monitors and when we did that we had a problem with one of our monitors blinking constantly. One morning I went to work and one of my displays stopped working. I switched the cables to another monitor and the same, it was blank. I ended up having to search around the house for extra wiring to get it working.
