This is a really great blender! In summer I make smoothies almost every day and I have several different ones. It worked for everyone. It properly mixes frozen fruit/ice cream with juices/water and produces a really "smooth" smoothie every time. I love that it's a glass container. So if I'm making a broccoli cheese soup, I can just throw it straight into the blender. hot and don't worry about the plastic ruining my soup. Cleaning is a breeze! I always rinse it right away and then take it apart and either put it in the top rack of the dishwasher or wash it by hand. Either way, it's easy. This blender fits under my counter easily, but I keep it on my kitchen utensil rack because I like my counters to be clean most of the time. My shelf is quite high and I have a hard time getting heavier items off it, but this one is surprisingly light. The noise is quite loud, but definitely less than my big ninja jar. very impressed with this hamilton beach mixer.
