I bought this pan so I can go from stovetop to oven without transferring food to an ovenproof dish. I seasoned it when it arrived (although it was pre-seasoned I read reviews saying it was recommended) and my first meal was a homemade pizza which I was dying to try. It turned out great! It slid right out of the pan and was perfectly crispy. I put a silicone sleeve over the handle after taking it out of the oven to make it easier to manipulate (although it got very hot in no time and I still had to use an oven mitt). Pretty hard. When there's food in, I have to move it with two hands, so I can't hold it with one hand and get the food out with the other. Maybe I'm weak, but I'm 48 and weight training, so I doubt it. Also, it's great for what I want and I look forward to many dishes with it in the future.
