Wavemaker shipped promptly. In the box, the wave generator, fixing magnet, control box, power supply and various accessories for adjusting the flow pattern were neatly packed. Installation instructions in Chinese and English were also included. Installation is intuitive and requires minimal documentation. The device was working within minutes of unpacking it. An important step is to install the control application on the phone. iPhone IOS and Android versions are available. Instructions were clear but English would have benefited from better translation. I installed my pump in a 4 foot 90 gallon fresh water tank. This particular reservoir receives little to no bottom current. I was hoping to kick up the trash and direct the waste to the filter inlet. I was hoping to reduce the need for frequent vacuuming during water changes. The pump worked great and pushed the waste up into the water column where the filter could catch it. According to the manufacturer, it is very quiet. Depending on the application, a 4 foot tank may prove to be the biggest use for this engine, especially when mounted on both ends. The middle mount seems more appropriate to make the most of its potential. The pump is great, but equally impressive is the Bluetooth control app. The user interface is intuitive and packed with features. It should easily handle all saltwater/refrigerator requirements in terms of schedule and wave patterns. In my particular application, it was good to be able to run a thread on a schedule rather than constantly. Thumbs up!
