I scoured the web and compared all the Launch monitors in my price range. Despite my suspicions of bias, I bought Rapsodo MLM. However: This device is the most expensive in my pocket. I can't even have an effective shooting session without them. I like to check transmission range and trajectory when I subjectively feel a great shot. When I hit the target, the numbers are accurate. When I rate it, the numbers are there. Instant replay helps me a bit to ensure the last shot was recorded. Knowing your distances is important and this MLM makes it easy for me. Of course, I could always use my range finder at the shooting range. But above all is the instant detection of distance, ball speed and launch angle. Some points: 1) NEEDS your phone. Make sure it's charged. Maximum brightness drains your phone (iPhone XR). 2) Swing speed is NOT displayed immediately, it is in the application itself. I wish ball speed and turn speed were swapped. 3) The bastard is the spacing I use. Never had a problem. 4) Ball flights appear to occur about 85% of the time. I noticed that some draws are not tracked properly. On the other hand, fading provides more reliable ball tracking. 5) 1 big bucket on my range is more or less 120 balls. Remember. Non-Premium accounts only save 100 videos (older videos will be deleted). 6) Audio feedback works well with AirPods. 7) The application is very good, with few glitches. It has the official Apple app. It would be better if crashes NEVER happened because they happen (5% of the time) 8) I like the ability to log snapshots to create averages. This will attract either a great or a terrible golfer. 9) I discard the 2 best hits and the 2 worst hits for more accurate averages. The next phone I buy will be just as good as my current phone. I don't regret my purchase.
