Tape sticks on paints

When I opened the box I was excited to see what was inside and immediately wanted to use it for my watercolor class. I then attempted to remove the taped plastic tape wrapped around each individual color. Unfortunately, the glue also covers the paint colors. After fifteen frustrating minutes, I only partially removed the eight. The paint was found unusable due to the paint showing adhesive residue. There are no instructions for an easy way to remove the tape. I sent the kit back.
