Review on 🚗 Xcellent Global 4pcs 12 Inch 8 Color Car Interior LED Neon Light Strip Kit with Sound Active Function - Wireless Remote Control and Car Charger, DC 12V - AT010 by James Ortega

I just installed it on my Scion FRS. Luckily, there's an accessible 12v charging port in my glove box, so this kit comes in handy for an easy hidden install with no visible wires. I was a bit concerned that some reviewers said the glue wasn't strong for these lights. Not sure if they've been updated or not but they come with 3M adhesive backing and as far as I know it doesn't get any better! You need to prepare the surface before applying, e.g. B. Wipe well with alcohol to achieve good adhesion. I installed them for about a week and they seem to be sticking very well. The included zip ties helped me to neatly route the cables and position the IR receiver the way I wanted it. I also taped the connectors very well with black tape to keep the wires from falling apart. After getting it working I was generally impressed with the "price". Of course you can spend more and get OPT7 twice the price, but this worked for me at half the price. If I was installing with a fuse box I would probably choose OPT7. But for my needs and applications and because I have a hidden 12V car charger in my glove compartment, it was enough. If you want your footwells to be illuminated when you open the doors while your car is still off, the OPT7 might be better for you as you can plug in the appropriate fuse for that. But turning on the headlights after starting the car is a small compromise for easy install and low price, IMO. The only thing I didn't like is that you don't have more control over custom colors. However, I love that you can control the intensity from the remote. It also remembers where you set those intensities as they will still be there the next time you start the car. Audio mode does not respond well to sound. I don't care because I don't want a nightclub in my car anyway, that would be too distracting (just accent lighting). All in all a good product at a good price. I just hope it lasts a long time and doesn't die out. I will definitely update this review if they fail. So far so good and the glue is strong IMO because it's actually 3M glue.
