The main reason I bought this kit was because I needed the main roller brush. The old roller in our shark ion vacuum robot was wobbly because the rubber bearing was worn out at the end. When I installed the new roller brush that came with the kit, the vacuum cleaner only worked for a few seconds and then gave a "roller brush stuck" signal. This new roller either has to be too long or too wide, or it won't spin as freely as Shark's original roller brush. This extra friction is likely to cause excessive current in the motor, which the robot interprets as a "stalled roller". I removed the bearing from the end of this new roller, put it on my old roller and put it back into vacuum service, but the cost of this kit was definitely a steep price to pay for the little rubber bearing at the end as that's all I'm off to used in this kit. If you mainly buy this roller brush set, don't waste your money. It is better to buy a genuine Shark part.
