Review on Rowenta ZD110 Stainless Steel Soleplate Cleaner Kit: 💎 Non-Toxic Solution with Cleaning & Polishing Cloth for Steam Irons by Ryan Larson

First I tried a cleaning method or two I found on YouTube which only made things worse. This did a great job of removing the sticky layer. One of my attempts at using YouTube involved a baking soda paste that ended up clogging the vapor holes and causing the second problem. This cleaner removed brown/black deposits on the iron but did not clean the steam holes. I called Rowenta customer service. They told me to use self-cleaning instructions (didn't even know there were such) but it didn't work on the steam vents or them. What really helped was adding water to the hot iron to get the water out of the steam holes. THEN I used this cleaner another time so now both issues are resolved.
