I bought these to take to the nursing home for Christmas. The cross would have hung better if the hole had been front to back. It was side to side and the cable was a bit stiff which didn't work that well. So I bought some wooden beads and ran the bead up to the cross. I had to tie a knot under the bead and over the bead but it worked. After putting them on, I let them hang for about a day to straighten the cord. The residents were happy and some were very touched. I needed 30 and there were 36 in the package so everything was perfect. I would post a photo but I don't know how.
