Review on πŸ’¨ Comfee CVG30W8AST 30 Inches Ducted Wall Mount Vent Range Hood: Powerful 450 CFM Exhaust Fan, Baffle Filters, Curved Glass, LED Lights, Stainless Steel by Christopher Wells

Revainrating 4 out of 5

450 cfm minimum, with subdued LED lighting

One story house, try installing on the structural side of your house, good luck. I had to install 1 inch lower than they recommend otherwise I would go into my soffits and then do a bunch of modifications. Even where a 6" insulated pipe used to be used as a heater in an old cabin, after upgrading with side panels and soffit that height was too high and I didn't want to get any closer to the stove. So I used the 6" pipe rebuilt. " to 4". In doing so, I noticed that the flow is much higher than the 450CFM fan allows. When turned on on medium it started lifting my elbow and on high it blew it off the top of the hood towards the stove. .4" needs to hit 400 cfm and wanted to dump. I have fans that push 1000 cfm and the air force coming out of the elbow was comparable to this fan. I've heard it loads at high RPM so I'm going to use it only use low and medium but again it moves the air around a bit, my hood had a defect but it was back and up so no one had to see but the black came from the rear right glass last pic penultimate pic shows How bright or dim the LEDs to light up your stove You can give the rear burners enough light but if the stove is about 4" from the wall these LEDs will only point down at the rear burners so will I'm considering upgrading these lamps I've taped the vent, make sure no air is escaping the unit, put in screws to hold the manifold and pipes together even more, you can If you turn the screw left and right and the shock will not hurt, just don't do it from the front or you will stop the front half of the shock. In my setup I just plugged the power cord into a groove on my wall, this blue wire is for an external WIFI antenna that mounts where I vented into a heavy duty dryer vent with damper and screen. Gotta make decisions for this chimney. as it seems difficult to make it look seamless without drilling and screwing in where the top and bottom meet. I'll finish this later in the week said back slower. Chimney and chimney top I can see with the top of the top which if extended to the ceiling I need to trim a bit or just cover and put under LED lighting. Only the lower front has the plastic removed and fingerprints are being taken on both the glass and the bonnet, so hands off after installation. I'm scratching my head at how these baffles absorb cooking grease, wish there was a stainless steel strainer on the back and since there isn't I'll add a bit. I deduct 1 star for the dim LED lighting, the rest of the installation and defects are tolerable.
