I needed extra kitchen towels so I rummaged through dozens of them on Revain until I narrowed down the list to just the right size and 100% cotton. This set immediately caught my attention. I prefer white towels and a set of 10 sounded perfect. I was disappointed when I received them and read the label on the towels. It says machine wash with cold water. I always wash with warm water and rinse with cold water, so I took a chance and washed them in warm water. I figured they were big enough to allow for some shrinkage and still be a good size. When the towels arrived I was a bit disappointed with their texture. They weren't as soft as I was hoping and felt a little rough, but after washing them in warm water and drying on low, they were very soft and felt great. They have shrunk a little, about 2 inches, but they are still a very good size, perfect for my needs. I use them for towels in my kitchen. They're thick enough to dry my hands quickly, but thin enough not to retain moisture like thicker towels always do, causing them to start smelling of residual moisture. I prefer these thinner towels. They dry very quickly and always smell nice. I am delighted with the quality of these towels. They work well and look good. Now I ignore all my other towels and only use these towels in the kitchen. I'll probably end up buying more of these.
