Review on ๐Ÿšด Funn Stryger Bicycle Drop Stem with 31.8mm Bar Clamp, -5ยฐ Degree Angle by David Dortch

Revainrating 3 out of 5

good, but the stem clamp is too tight, allowing useless flexing (twisting) on โ€‹โ€‹the handlebars.

This is a good stem but too narrow in the clamp to support a 760mm handlebar. It flexes pretty badly when you push the bars. for simple xc use only. I just wanted a 55mm stem to replace an old (not new, inferior quality) 45mm Funn Funnduro stem that I've been using for the past few years. this thing is rock solid. and light. I ditched my haircut with great regret and returned to the Funduro after just an hour on the bike. quite disappointed. The weakness seems to come from either the very narrow bar clamp or the main stay. not sure which. it just doesn't seem safe to me. The bars have a slight wobbling motion when pushed/pulled up and down. That's pretty bad. (I've been cycling for 30 years, so I know what a lemon feels like).
