Review on Peugeot Paris u'Select Salt Mill: 9'' 🧂 White - Precise Flavor Control and Elegant Design by Steve Hauck

I ordered a 9 inch pepper grinder. I received a 9" salt grinder. I found this out because there was some salt in it that was probably added during production and testing. I called Peugeot customer service to find out what I have on hand. They confirmed that the model where the top adjustment knob has the *white lion logo + white circle* around it is actually a salt mill All the hate you see here is probably because the Revain product description is wrong and misunderstanding what product they are selling A grinder with a mechanism made for salt Another IMPORTANT point: If you are looking for a salt shaker for exquisite "wet" salt, you need a Peugeot grinder with a *ceramic mechanism* - these Parisians USelect line is not designed for that, I did a little research and found out that Peugeot has 3 different wet salt models, so before you order here, see Check out the grinder types on the brand's website. At first glance it seems overwhelming, but it's not difficult to understand. I hope Revain works with Peugeot to find out what they are selling so people don't judge the brand unfairly. This whole misunderstanding is easy to fix, it breaks my heart when I see bad reviews. As a side note I gave 5 stars when I tried the salt grinder I received even though it wasn't what I ordered and I LOVE how it works and the different grind settings. Beautifully designed and the white color is gorgeous. The problem isn't the product, it's the wrong description. Just make sure you understand what you're ordering (and hopefully Revain will correct the description) and you'll be a happy customer. Edit: Added another picture with the differences noted as I received the correct pepper grinder from the brand's own website. This makes it easy to understand the differences between coffee grinders and their purpose. Also pictured is a Nancy Peugeot coffee grinder with an internal ceramic mechanism suitable for use with wet salt. When people say in the reviews here that their grinder "rusts" quickly, it's because they haven't researched enough and are using the wrong one.
