I installed these on a 2015 Ram 1500 crew cab after 5" height. These 2" spacers returned the truck to where it was before the camper/shed was installed. I removed the tires, removed the lower shock bolt and loosened the anti-roll bar on the driver's side. going into the coil spring), I SLOWLY compress the spring and remove it from the truck. I felt the tool wasn't secure at all and ended up putting three straps on the spring to compress it enough. I decided to find another tool to finish the job and bought one that has safety latches and attaches to the outside of the coil spring. Spring and shock absorber and stabilizer bar reinstalled. The passenger side is much easier due to the ease of use of the dual clamp tool instead of the paddle type. I just had to take the tire off. I did not disconnect the shock absorber or the anti-roll bar on the car. Side. I was able to easily compress the spring and install the spacer. The driver's side took several hours with the first tool. The passenger side took less than 30 minutes. Added a photo of the compression tool. it was sold out in store. If you're concerned about safety (and you should be), a fold down lever strap from boat transom to trailer works great as a safety feature. I am very happy with these spacers and how the truck feels now. I'm sure oncoming vehicles will appreciate the fact that I don't blind them at night because the headlights are so high.
