I'm slowly but surely becoming a regular customer of NOW Foods. They bring a meaningless product to the fore. I have done extensive research on many proteins and other supplements and they are always one of my top choices. I just turned down ON Gold Standard 100% Whey because they keep inflating the price of the base product. I wrote to ON to find out why there was such a huge increase in price and they countered that it was secondary to the cost of the cheese (whey is a by-product of the cheese making process and the price of cheese has gone up, at least that's what they say). I did some research to see if I could find another high quality protein cheaper than ON and settled on this one. It's really not that big of a price difference; However, I wanted to try another product and bought this one. This protein is a cocktail or blend of different types of whey. Most companies will do this due to the cost effectiveness and increased bioavailability of their product. In my opinion, this material deserves the highest ratings for cost, taste, digestibility, and mixability. If you like IFBB approved proteins, bright and shiny packaging, this might not be your protein. If, like me, you're looking to spend your money on a quality, no-frills product, look no further than this product or ON Serum (it's a matter of preferred ingredients I guess). The things I would like to mention to the potential Dutch chocolate flavor buyer is that if you don't like the taste of coconut, you can try a different flavor. Additionally, I add 1-2 teaspoons of natural cocoa powder to all my protein drinks for antioxidant and flavoring, this practice makes all my drinks taste the same. You really get that coconut flavor mixed with water, but you hardly notice it mixed with milk. Serving size is 70ml or 1/3 cup and you get 108 servings per 10 pound bag. The big difference I see with NOW Whey compared to ON Natural Whey is that with NOW you get fewer servings per pack while with ON Natural Whey you get fructose. Save your old protein spoon as it's not in the bag or at least I can't find it.
