How to fix the dance roof

In general, I like the look and material of the dollhouse itself. It took my husband and I about an hour to assemble. None of the parts are pre-assembled. Two of the three downsides for me are that it takes so long to assemble, and second, some plastic parts break easily. The third disadvantage is related to the dancing roof. The circuit board is poorly assembled and the turntable gets stuck easily. I pushed the button to start spinning and music and it immediately stuck and stopped working. I tried to move the rotating part back and forth and that broke the part. Unfortunately, this part is out of stock on the KidKraft website, so I was unable to order a replacement. Below I'll show you what I did to fix the problem and what tools you might need. (My problem was a broken wire) Tools needed: β€’ Phillips screwdriver (regular and small) β€’ Mini hot glue gun β€’ Duct tape β€’ Vaseline and cotton swab Instructions: 1. Remove the blue front parts of the lock on the left side and the right side of the roof .2. Loosen the 4 corner screws.3. Unscrew the rear right screw.4. Remove the pink rotating doll holders, then remove the roof and place it on the ground, knob side down. Unscrew the six screws on the underside of the roof.6. The red wire came loose on the circuit board. I had to reconnect the wires and use a hot glue gun to secure them in place and use tape to secure the wires in place. To prevent the rotating top from snagging, I used a cotton swab and petroleum jelly to apply the petroleum jelly between the white square and between the grooves on the gears on the underside of the roof.8. Collect, tune in and enjoy!
