I bought these shoes for my 3 year old who wears size 9 shoes. They were huge. The heel of the sock was much higher than his ANKLE when he put it on. I put the sock on my adult wife's foot which is a size 9 and it turned out to fit. The socks are marked size 9-1, which means they are intended for children aged 3-6 years. I put them on my 6 year old daughter who is a large size for her age 2.5ft and they fit her perfectly. Not worth my time sending them back as they fit one of my kids but I am disappointed and they appear to be factory seconds that were mistakenly marked as 'small'.
