Review on 🔧 Enhanced Performance Motor Mount Insert - Energy Suspension 16.1105G for Honda by Paul Rosemark

I read a negative review a few years ago and still thought, they can't be that bad. I drive a lowered Civic with a non-original header and muffler. I'm used to driving hard and loud, I thought these mounts didn't really matter, it's not like I'm used to driving a Cadillac, wow I was wrong. Two weeks later today I pulled them out and installed new regular rubber supports. Good: These inserts fit perfectly on the stock mounts, although one of my mounts was completely torn in two. They are easy to assemble and securely fixed in the brackets. This is a good product. The Bad: These inserts basically turn your mounts into solid mounts. Any vibration from the engine is transmitted directly to the body. It's not too bad at cruising speed, but it was terrible at idle. My front bumper rumbled at traffic lights, the steering wheel jerked, the manhole cover rattled, a little something danced in my center console, etc. There was also a heavy rumble in the car due to the lack of sound insulation, coupled with vibration. Opinion: If you need strong mounts for a high performance car/racer and don't care about excessive noise, these are perfect for you. If you need new bearings for your car every day, spend your money and buy new rubber bearings, you will be much happier.
