The cover appears to be very durable and well made. There is velcro on the front end that helps when there is carpet on the back of the seat. In my case it works better if it attaches to the back seat as the front seats don't have a mat to attach velcro to. I would suggest a way to secure the back of the case so it doesn't slide forward. I was able to install the cover in the spare wheel well on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Problem solved without any changes to the cover. The bottom of the lid holds up well, but the top of the lid doesn't fit the bottom, so the two layers allow for some slippage. Overall, this is an excellent cover that protects the area well. I've used it to move the contents of one garage to another garage and the lid caught all the sand and other dirt and kept the carpet clean underneath. One benefit we've found is that dogs (two large greyhounds) now stay away from the front seats if their paws detect there's nothing under the cover. This is where the gap is between the top of the folded rear seats and the front seats. This is great because they won't fall into the abyss and will encourage them to LIE. Both tend to fall asleep on the bedspread, which is much safer for them and us.
