Review on Airaid 302 232 AIRAID Intake System by Michael Barrett

Installed on 09 Dodge Ram 1500 TRX4. I was under the impression that the standard CAI would dive with the same results as this Airaid system, but after installing and riding I found that wasn't the case. The Airaid system definitely increases performance, I don't know how much in numbers but I can feel it. The gauge on the dash has gone from around 14mpg on average to over 18mpg. The noise shocked me when I first gave it gas. Sounds like now. At idle and minimal throttle I don't hear any change, but when it opens it sounds like the engine is about to jump out and eat an innocent bystander. I run a 40 series Flowmaster exhaust and the combo is great. I would recommend this purchase to anyone who wants to increase their MPG, bump up the pants horsepower a bit and really hear their engine growl under gas. Totally satisfied with the product and the installation I did in the parking lot with a socket set, wrench and flat head screwdriver. Thank you Airid.
