So I bought this lamp hoping it would go well with the smart bulb and echo dot and I couldn't be happier! That's why. Reason 1: The AC output socket option gave me the ability to plug in my echo dot, Reason 2: The 2 USB sockets also on the base of the lamp gave me more room to add a USB powered fan giving it the perfect amount of power Power and last but not least reason 3! The light it can emit with the smart bulb was perfect! Nothing seems to restrict the light overly, it's just perfect to have it next to me, when I read I change color to white and when I play I turn red. And everything revolves around this lamp.
