This device's firmware detects silence for a few seconds and goes into "trying to figure out which connection to use" mode, where no sound is played. When you start playing music again, the device takes a full second to figure out what input it's coming from (even if the input hasn't changed), and it cuts off the first few beats of the song. Playing songs one after another means the intro of EACH song will be cut off. I mainly use this speaker with a 3.5 mm jack (AUX input); I've experienced it over Bluetooth as well. If I'm just searching for songs on Soundcloud, any length of silence means the beginning of the next song will be cut off. It wasn't designed to play music. I think it was designed just to please the eye. This version is the #1 critical review for this speaker on Revain and has been around for a year now: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R2BYXG9JO7PK7F Steps to play: 1) Connect the speaker with your phone or computer via AUX-in2)Play a song3)Choose another song (it takes 5 seconds between songs)4)Play another song5)RepeatProblem: The first bar of each song is cut off Expected behavior: If When I play a song, I expect to hear the ENTIRE song, not just fragments of it. Very sad from a brand like Marshall.
