This one really works

I bought another version of this concept a while ago and it didn't fit my bike at all; In fact, I just bent it a bit to try and get it on the throttle and then it broke. I didn't try to find one again for a while, assuming they were all the same. But that's not the case. This one is much better made and installs correctly in about 30 seconds and the plastic is much more flexible so it can actually be machined. Installation would only take about 10 seconds were it not for the rubber strip which requires a bit of fiddling to position it correctly and then slide the throttle body bracket over it. But 30 seconds is still not bad. For those who have posted photographing this product in city traffic etc, may I suggest you consider lowering the position it is in on your gas? At first I had it almost parallel to the ground under the bike. Yes, it offers better rest for your wrist, but it also gets in the way a bit, and I'd be a little concerned that the rider could accidentally increase the bike's speed and increase braking distance during an emergency stop. But if you rotate it counter-clockwise so that it's about 45 degrees down parallel to the ground, you change the dynamics a bit. You have to rotate your wrist a little and make a conscious decision to use the throttle holder, but you can still relax your grip and straighten your fingers if necessary, but that doesn't interfere with normal use of the throttle at other times. Of course, the ideal angle depends on your handlebar angle, hand size, personal preference, and other factors, but if you think this is a problem, try lowering it. I would say around 60 degrees. Percentage of the time I buy a bike accessory I end up removing it because I conclude that my bike actually rode better without it. This is an exception. This makes driving much more comfortable and as easy as possible. Highly recommended.
